We're Too Popular!!!!
2009-05-06
With a week still to go before deadline, DNB is thrilled with the number of entries already received. And a little overwhelmed too.
A judge is restricted by the rules to the number of hours she may cover in one day, so we're looking into other options, such as prevailing upon a second judge to cover walk-trot and Training.
Some riders will be contacted personally to see if they are willing to ride two tests per day instead of three, in order to make room for more competitors. Refunds on classes paid for will be offered, of course.
Incomplete entries are also a headache. Approximately 75% of entries in hand are missing vital information and items. With entries this plentiful, the show committee may need to stick to its guns regarding rejection of incomplete entries. Don't let this happen to you! ;)
Once all the details have been worked out and we've found all the ways we can possibly accommodate all interested horse/rider pairs, we'll get back to you.
And people say May is too early to run a show!
